Opened about 4 weeks, word spread quickly among us locals recommending a must-try.
My Wife and I did just that last Saturday evening and frankly experienced the best food and service we have had in years of local and international dining.
The decor is subtle white with a very clever use of silver wall frames and silver tea and coffee pots etc. Crockery and cutlery, along with other table items were great choices along with linen table clothes. Seating for about 60 plus, and a lovely separate courtyard, with a water feature, seating around 20, and would be ideal for private dinner or cocktail parties.
Service is impeccable with very experienced wait-staff doing their job most efficiently, and welcoming. Their attention to diners was professional, friendly and constant without being intrusive. The matching color scheme of uniforms added to the atmosphere of a crew who obviously knew their stuff.
The restaurant is promoted as “elegant casual dining” however, whilst this is true, it is also an understatement – with black cocktail dresses for ladies and black-tie for gentlemen, the place would transform without any further change to an extremely high class “elegant fine dining” establishment. - It is that good!
The Chef Bradley Hooper presents a simply wonderful menu beautifully balanced in all areas. The food is superb in every respect and sauces are a delight. Our meals reeked of freshness and plate presentations were both thoughtful and clever. Truffles feature quite a bit and used perfectly.
For the first time in years we saw menu options only offered in Europe which is wonderful for dedicated foodies.
A lovely touch on arrival was a tiny cup of complimentary warm Vegetable and Truffle Soup, plus sorbet between meals as one would expect from a fine dining establishment.
The owner, Cheryl Fullerton obviously runs a tight ship and also has time for a smile and a chat.
The perfect combination for discerning diners and should not be missed by anyone seeking a high quality experience – a truly fabulous establishment.

Thank you so much Jim for this our first review. You lead the way and we are very grateful to you for your lovely remarks. It's great to hear others say they have read your reviews and have come to see for themselves. It's six months since we opened now and all is going to plan. We are getting great support from the locals at Currumbin as well as others who have ventured to visit us. Week by week we have continued to grow and add touches to Allure and our menu. It is always a pleasure to have you and your lovely family dine with us. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Cheryl and Brad.
