As most people who read these reviews would think i was pretty nervous about going to the siroco.. but please listen when i say don't be! me and my boyfriend went for 7 days in mid april and it was great! apart from the weather being fab (which has nothing to do with where u stay) the hotel itself was a great base. our apartment was spotless and cleaned 6 out of the 7 days, there's a fantastic pool side bar where all the younger crowd go in the nightime, but i saw lots for the kids to do and all the children there on holiday were having a fab time.. both pools are nice altho the 'green side' pool is a tad warmer. however we stayed on the blue side and found it to be slightly cleaner anyway.
so basically, the apartments are basic, but totally functional and clean, the hotel staff are helpful and esp the english bar staff are great fun, the pools and gardens are regularly cleaned (u can see them do it during the day) and the beach is literally 5 mins walk from the quiet but pretty beach. try the 14 euro all u can eat buffet 3 mins from hotel- beer inc ; )
i think people go to a low star hotel and expect miricles.. this hotel is perfectly livable altho some bits look a bit tired (but all they need is some paint!!!)
me and my boyfriend had a wicked week, met some lovely people from all over the UK and enjoyed every minute of our fun in the sun! don't be put off by the snobby people on here, they don't understand that u get what you pay for : P

was in the siroco for a week at start of april with my wife and two kids..great time was had by all of us..hotel was spotless,staff were great and always said hello,or was it ola?...anyway..defo be going back next year for my easter week...so dont listen to the total rubbish guy!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have just come back from our easter break stay at the Club Sirico and would like to disagree with all the other negative comments on the board.
I, like others were dreading taking our two young children to the apartments after reading the reviews and would agree with most comments that the rooms are very basic and dated. However, we cannot fault the cleanliness of the apartments as they were cleaned every day bar changeover. The pool and gardens were also cleaned daily. The food, although repetitive (meat and fish) was good and cooked fresh, although the snacks in the bar area were sometimes left open (by lazy holdayers not replacing tops).

The staff were very receptive to the children and the entertainments organiser made a good job of what ammenitie he was given.

All in all i think that Club Sirico was a family friendly holiday which we all thouroughly enjoyed. To the negative comments: you get what you pay for! If you want luxury go somewher else.

Booked a last minute holiday 2 weeks before travel as my husband was 40 and it was the Easter hols for the children age 12 and 8.Having read some of the reports was a little apprehensive but as we usually go camping we fear little and as the cost was reasonable we werent uduly concerned!
Arrived in the evening,having found a taxi very easily and reasonable at the airport.We liked our apartment instantly as it was so clean.The kitchen area had everything you needed to self cater comfortably.We then went to Netto which i have to say is very expensive compared to Uk.
The next day we explored the complex further.Our patio area was v pleasant,with table and sun loungers and the children loved the pool.It was too cold for me though!
We ate at the restaurant 3 times and it is v reasonable.However i was glad to be self catering as the food was very ordinary and i wouldnt have wanted it every day but i guess you always get what you pay for.If you want really nice food abroad i think you need to go 5 star.
Everywhere in the scirroco is very clean and all the staff except for one man were v friendly and helpful.
There were a few activities during the day,just enough for us and the childrens disco at night was nice .
We really liked Lanzorote,it is a really interesting island.Make sure you visit the volcano,caves and catus garden.
We werent awfully keen on Costa Teguise, but there are plenty places to eat reasonably,just make sure you walk further down from the promenade for better quality.
Costa Teguise was a bit windy to start with but the pool area at Scirroc is nice and sheltered and the temperatures rose each day.
Overall for what we paid i think these apartments offer v good value for money for families.
