I was worried about staying here after reading all the reviews about "bait and switch" between this property (Petinos BEACH Hotel) and their downscale sister property (Petinos Hotel). It is confusing but I don't think they do it intentionally. When we mistakenly arrived at the Petinos Hotel and showed them our reservation they politely said we were booked into the nicer hotel and even carried our bags over.

As for a stay at Petinos Beach Hotel, I highly recommend it. It's right on a nice sand beach, perfect for people who want to enjoy themselves but aren't disco partiers and drinkers. There are a string of good restaurants on the same beach. The main town of Hora is a cheap, easy bus ride away. The hotel is clean, beautiful with a nice pool and ample lounge chairs. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in all of Greece with the most ample selection I've seen so far - crepes, scrambled and boiled eggs, fruits, breads, on and on.

Our room was the honeymoon suite, 235. You'll love the shower, private jacuzzi and 2 private terraces that overlook the entire beach.

My wife and I just came back from two weeks in Greece. In Mykonos, we stayed at the Petinos Beach hotel. To our opinion, Petinos Beach Hotel is the best of its class in the island; sparkling clean facilities and rooms, very helpful staff, beautiful location and excellent breakfast; we’d go back in a heartbeat, no hesitation. Our room located at the 2nd floor with a beautiful ocean / swimming pool view. The hotel location is right on the beach, perfect for either catching the water taxi, the bus to downtown or a regular taxi. Not to mention the staff, very friendly, helpful and attractive. I’d highly recommend the Petinos Beach Hotel. Note: beware that there is another hotel ran by the same folks called Petinos Hotel. The Petino Hotel’s rooms are smaller (and cheaper) and only a few of them have ocean view; both hotels share the restaurant and some facilities.

my husband and i finished our month long tour of europe in mykonos, and most the hotels around europe as you can imagine were not the nicest, nor the cleanest. hotel petinos was like a breath of fresh air! i felt like i was on my honeymoon again!!! it had BY FAR the best breakfast out of all the hotels we stayed at. the room was lovely. i loved the balcony and the bathroom was really clean. not to mention that the wait staff at the hotel were REALLY handsome. i loved the hotel. i would go back in a heartbeat. the beach front location made everything really convienient and there's a bus that runs to and from town about every half hour. thank you hotel petinos for being the breath of fresh air and relaxation that was well needed after such a long journey.

Our room was beautiful with a great view of the pool & ocean. The buffet breakfast was wonderful. Lots of hot & cold dishes. The pool was very large. The location, right on the beach was perfect for catching the water taxi. The bus stop to town was 1 minute away. The service staff were very helpful & friendly. The only ATM machine is in town!
