We stayed at Argo in September 2007 for four nights and it was not nearly long enough!

It is in a perfect location near Platis Gialos Beach (only 100 metre walk) and with the bus stop almost directly out the front of the hotel if you want to take a 10 minute ride into town.

The rooms were lovely and spacious and very clean. Bed was comfortable and the balcony overlooking the pool and beach was perfect!

There are three supermarkets very close by (one directly opposite the hotel, the other at the bus stop and the third at the beach) so very convevnient to buy drinks and keep them refrigerated in your room.

The owner of Argo was very welcoming and was always available to answer any questions we had or to give us suggestions on what to do each day and what beahc would be best depending on the wind direction.

The breakfast we had at Argo was probably the best of our whole trip!

The hotel is a nice size - intimate without being too small and has a great pool, although the beach just two minutes down the road is brilliant or from there, you can get a boat quite cheaply to any of the other surrounding beahes.

The hotel is fantastic value for money and also has a nice lounge area at the entrance where you can relax or inside you can use the free internet (a real bonus if you want to make everyone back at home jealous!)

Argo is very highly recommended by us and the next time we are back in Mykonos, which will hopefully be within the next two years, we will without a doubt be staying at Argo.

We picked the Argo Hotel for its closeness to a hotel friends were going to be staying at - we could not afford their Hotel. However, I wouldnt have stayed at their hotel in preference to the Argo in any event.
We were delighted with our choice. The room had a lovely large balcony with two sun loungers and a table and two chairs. Fabulous view of the pool and the sea!
The breakfasts were fabulous. Especially enjoyed the local joghurt and honey which had been sorely lacking at other hotels throughout out trip in the Islands.
The room was beautifully clean and well appointed. The bathroom was spacious and clean towels every day.
Free Internet connection and use.
The staff were friendly and helpful. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone wishing to stay out of the centre of Mykonos. Regular buses take you into town and with the beach literally metres away it is very convenient. By the way, a quick plug here for the restaurant called "Nikos" on the sea front. Sakkis (not sure how to spell his name) was mighty helpful and friendly. Food was really really reasonable and very tasty and we ate here on three nights of our stay in Mykonos.

Friendly, helpful staff at Argo Hotel. Free internet a plus, the breakfast was plenitful and had some variety. Eating breakfast rightside the pool was great. Super close to the beach and to the bus stop. Beautiful lounge and pool bar/deck. Spacious room, clean, comfortable. We had a full kitchen (only bad part was finding dishes that were not washed properly and had a bad stench). The port pickup/dropoff was greatly appreciated and everyone at the Argo Hotel is caring and considerate of their guests. If we ever go back to Mykonos, Argo Hotel is where we would stay!

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the hotel Argo, where we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is situated perfectly for the beach and for the short bus trip into town, our room was clean, comfotrable and had a lovely large terrace overlooking the pool, the hillside and a little bit of sea.
The new pool area has been tastefully designed with soft, atmospheric lighting at night: it is a lovely place to enjoy the substantial buffet breakfast or a relaxing evening drink.
Thanasis and his staff were friendly and approachable and really made us feel welcome and comfortable. Another nice touch is the transfer they provide to and from the airport/[port.
We will be back!
