My boyfriend and I stayed in Greece for 2 weeks (total of 4 different hotels) and this was by far our favorite. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, but at first glance we didn't think Myknonos would be for us- very young island full of wild & crazy (naked) party-goers.

Thanasis was the nicest host-- made us feel welcome all the time and went above and beyond. The complimentary breakfast is delicious-- better than going out to a restaurant for breakfast! We didn't really like the restaurants on the beach front- overpriced and not great food, so one night we ate at the hotel. Nothing too special but it was good and Thanasis treated us to an after-dinner drink.

It's a fantastic idea to go to Delos (city of ruins) for the day- you have to take a bus into town (early in the morning) and take a boat out to Delos-- it really made our trip to Mykonos wonderful and Thanasis helped us out with the details.

We loved hanging out by the pool and reading on our balcony!

HAd a fantastic 5 day stay at this great hotel in November 2005. The rooms were very comfortable; we had a large balcony off our room - able to comfortably sit 6 of us - a great place to enjoy sundowners before wandering down the road at night for dinner. The bus to Mykonos main town was just outside the hotel - very convenient and very quick to get over to the main part of town. We (3 couples) were't interested in the nightclub scene, so the location was great for us. The local beaches were fun; all of which were a short walk away.
The hosts were fantastic - they couldn't have done anything more to make us feel more welcome. The outdoor pool and bar was great to use. The breakfasts we had here were the best we had during our 5 week European holiday.
We thought the Argos was great value for money.

Very BEAUTIFUL hotel, very clean, friendly staff (especially the director), wonderful (new) swimming pool...

The hotel is located just a few steps from : the beach (beautiful one, even if very crowded), the bus stop, and the mini-market.

I would recommand to anyone to go to Argo Hotel : couples, young singles, old people... it is just perfect. Nice cool music on evening, very calm during the day...

Overall, pice is very reasonnable.

Believe me, just go there :-)

We stayed at Argo in September 2007 for four nights and it was not nearly long enough!

It is in a perfect location near Platis Gialos Beach (only 100 metre walk) and with the bus stop almost directly out the front of the hotel if you want to take a 10 minute ride into town.

The rooms were lovely and spacious and very clean. Bed was comfortable and the balcony overlooking the pool and beach was perfect!

There are three supermarkets very close by (one directly opposite the hotel, the other at the bus stop and the third at the beach) so very convevnient to buy drinks and keep them refrigerated in your room.

The owner of Argo was very welcoming and was always available to answer any questions we had or to give us suggestions on what to do each day and what beahc would be best depending on the wind direction.

The breakfast we had at Argo was probably the best of our whole trip!

The hotel is a nice size - intimate without being too small and has a great pool, although the beach just two minutes down the road is brilliant or from there, you can get a boat quite cheaply to any of the other surrounding beahes.

The hotel is fantastic value for money and also has a nice lounge area at the entrance where you can relax or inside you can use the free internet (a real bonus if you want to make everyone back at home jealous!)

Argo is very highly recommended by us and the next time we are back in Mykonos, which will hopefully be within the next two years, we will without a doubt be staying at Argo.
