Having travelled to Lanzarote for the past eight years and always stayed in the Fariones Playa, decided to stay in the hotel for a change. Not suitable for children as they were not allowed to splash in the pool and all inflatable toys were taken off them by the security guard.. Everything was great very quiet at night. Would not visit it again despit the fact we were given free child place.

We have been to Lanzarote lots of times and this was our first stay in Los Fariones and it was great. Very clean hotel, good bedrooms with sitting area and balcony overlooking the beach. The grounds are very good as is the pool. The hotel has its own beach access and sun deck with lots of beds, beach bar etc. The food at buffet breakfast and lunch is unbelievably varied and of an excellent standard, soups, salads, roasts, fish and sea food as well as grill. Dinner is available too though the lunch choice is probably better but it's still a good option.

I stay in lots of hotels around the world on business and Los Fariones is great to spend a holiday in. Can't comment on their wireless connectivity as I don't take my laptop on holiday! I only bought the papers 3 days a week; it's a great place to unwind, it's well located yet close to the maddening crowd.

This is the first hotel that I cannot access the Internet on my new Labtop computer of anywhere I have been in the world and the hotel has a tech guy who does not care about the customers who need to access the internet .
I am writing this from an electronics shop accross the street from hotel where my new labtop works fine (the hotel says that my computer is the problem)

I will not be recommending this hotel to any of my friends

Pros:
Lovely gardens & pool area to rear of hotel.
Loads of sunbeds spread out all over the garden area.
Hotel cats & birds well looked after by hotel.
Hotel breakfast & lunch great.
Very clean.
Private beach.
Very relaxing but may be a little quiet for some.

Cons:
Stay away from evening meal.
Showers ran hot & cold all the time.
Children in the adults pool but no children in kids pool.
Rooms 2/3 star not 4 star.
