I would have given this hotel a very good rating but for the last two hours of our stay. On the day we was leaving we had our lunch which was supposed to be included in our 1/2 board costs. To our anger we was told to pay €49.80 for a very small lunch for two. I complained to the management explaining that there was some days that we did not eat in the resteraunt. His answer was that we should have told them earlier and he would have given us vouchers. We was not told of this arrangement and it was too late.
Nice hotel some nice staff. In the old days people used to tell you to "put your hands up in the air" !

Really enjoyed our stay in this very well located hotel. The maid service was top class with every time they visited our room we arrived back to flowers and chocolates on our bed and in the bathroom. Loved the views looking out over the beach especially when we were eating our breakfast on the decking every morning. Our only dissapointment was when the crowds of spanish teenagers arrived in over the rocks to descend on the private beach and arrive up to the sunbathing areas. The security guard had a job trying to curtail them and it needs to be watched very closely by management as it could stop potential clients revisiting.

Having travelled to Lanzarote for the past eight years and always stayed in the Fariones Playa, decided to stay in the hotel for a change. Not suitable for children as they were not allowed to splash in the pool and all inflatable toys were taken off them by the security guard.. Everything was great very quiet at night. Would not visit it again despit the fact we were given free child place.

We have been to Lanzarote lots of times and this was our first stay in Los Fariones and it was great. Very clean hotel, good bedrooms with sitting area and balcony overlooking the beach. The grounds are very good as is the pool. The hotel has its own beach access and sun deck with lots of beds, beach bar etc. The food at buffet breakfast and lunch is unbelievably varied and of an excellent standard, soups, salads, roasts, fish and sea food as well as grill. Dinner is available too though the lunch choice is probably better but it's still a good option.

I stay in lots of hotels around the world on business and Los Fariones is great to spend a holiday in. Can't comment on their wireless connectivity as I don't take my laptop on holiday! I only bought the papers 3 days a week; it's a great place to unwind, it's well located yet close to the maddening crowd.
