We have just come back from staying for one week at villa no2, booked through James Villas.
A few draw backs were - no airconditioning, although you can hire a free standing unit for 50 euros for one week, there is a list (on the wall in the villa) of other items you can hire at a cost and I presume they are delivered to you.
Also - there was only one plug socket at work top level in the kitchen - bit of a nuisance when you wanted to use the kettle and the toaster!
When we arrived we thought our pool looked a bit unclean and cloudy, but thought it would be okay, however it just got worse and after two days we had to call someone out to fix it. Two men arrived very promptly after our call and 'fixed' it. They actually had to come back two more times for other problems with it. Seems a coincidence that our daughter has suddenly got a nasty cough.
BEWARE - tiles round the pool are very, very slippy.
Bedooms are fairly small, but have plenty of storage space. There is sky tv except hardly any channels work.
Villas are in a very quiet area of the town but within easy walking distance of supermarkets and the main streets. Plenty of choice of good restaurants - we particularly enjoyed the Dolce Vita restaurant.
You must try to go on the trip to Timanfaya National park! Very interesting!
Overall we enjoyed our holiday in Lanzarote and would go back, maybe not to the bocaina villas!
