“Fabulous & friendly. Great value for a 3 star hotel”

We were allocated this accommodation due to some over-booking, but were very lucky as its such a charming place. The staff are delightful and very helpful. It is family run so everyone is motivated to help the guests as much as possible. We had a ground floor bungalow and it was great - TV, fridge, aircon and a great power shower. The area is quiet with no passing traffic - just good views of the port and some amazing 'reverse parking' by the Criuse Ships!. There is a lovely local cat around the bungalows whom we nicknamed ' Blackie' who was just as friendly as the owners!

There is a pool, which isn't huge, but perfectly adequate and it is spotlessly clean. NB The hotel is up a pretty steep hill but that's why it has good views.

All in all a great place if you want to be near Mykonos town but not actually in it (there's an hourly bus). Its amazing value for a 3 star hotel and we would definitely return again.

“Excellent Accommodation”

The accomodation at the Rhenia Bungalows is spot on. For a three star hotel you get a lot of space (both inside the room and on the balcony) and good quality furniture. As previous posts have stated both Andreas and Alexandra are lovely and really want to make their guests comfortable. This extended to my partner and I being offered a lift to the airport by Alexandra to save on waiting for a cab. Breakfast is served in a room overlooking the pool and Mykonos Town and is a great way to start the day.

There are two (minor) downsides to the Rhenia Bungalows; the first is the walk into town. Whilst the walk does only take 20 minutes to get to the old port it is along a reasonably busy coast road with no pavement and it can be a little bit hairy having coaches, trucks and cars all coming at you! Once we'd discovered the joy of the bus for 1.10 Euro each and a cab back from town at no more than 4 Euro's we didn't bother walking it after that! The second minor downside is the distance to get to the nearest shop. A ten minute walk in the opposite direction of Mykonos Town will bring you to Agios Stefanos where you can find a shop to furnish you with all the necessary items, water and beer!

All things considered I would certainly return to the Rhenia Bungalows, the view of Mykonos Town from the balcony and the peace and quiet compared to the town centre makes it a winner!

This marks my third visit to the Rhenia Bungalows in Mykonos, Greece, with anticiption for many more to come! The hospitality of the hosts, Andreas and Aleka, is that of old world charm, with attention to detail and a genuine smile that is pervasive in their intent to satisfy each and every guest. The joy they find in running their proud establishment shines through in their bubbling personalities and helpful natures. Their hotel is geographically located on a hillside overlooking beautiful Tourlos bay, and is only a ten minute walk from town. Just close enough, yet far enough away! The views from the hotel are spectacular, and the solitude is a refreshing change from the bustling energy in town. The bungalow clusters are arranged to enhance personal privacy, each with their own comfortable porch, yet all within a brief distance of the centrally located small swimming pool- for those who may choose to relax 'at home' for the afternoon instead of visiting one of the island's many fine beaches. The decor is simple and traditional, the rooms clean and tidy, and the gregarious nature of Andreas and Aleka magnetic and inspiring. I plan on returning many more times, just as other guests whom I have met who have been returning regularly now for multiple decades! There is absolutely and conclusively no finer place to stay on the island of Mykonos than at the Rhenia Bungalows!

We have just returned from a three week holiday in the magnificent Greek Islands. As always our favorite island was Mykonos - with its beautiful white-washed villages, amazing beaches and turquoise sea. As a frequent visitor to the island I am pleased to say that although Mykonos is constantly growing in popularity and catering to a very elite and jet-set crowd - the charm of the island is not lost.

Every year for the last two decades we return to stay with the incredibly hospitable Fiorentinos family at their lovely Rhenia Bunglaows Hotel. Spanning generations, this family-run Hotel is an absolute "Jewel". It consists of a series of 30+ Bungalows perched high above the Bay only 2KM from the main town, the rooms are clean and simple yet beautifully designed with local traditional flair each with a large balcony or terrace boasting an amazing view! The hotel has a lovely pool overlooking the bay as well as a cozy outdoor poolside bar.

This Hotel is a wonderful escape and is the perfect place to immerse oneself in local tradition and experience the ultimate Mykonian hospitality! An absolute MUST!
