We ended up needing a room at the last minute and we were referred to Maki's Place by another hotel owner. Maki accomodated our last minute request with no issue whatsoever and even sent his shuttle to come pick us up. The rooms were nothing fancy, but very clean. The balcony was nice to dry out wet suits and sit with wine in the evening. Most impressive of all, Maki himself went out of his way to help us when we needed a shuttle ride to the ferry back to Athens. He drove us the the correct port (you want the port closest to the hotel if you have to take the speedboat back to Athens) and gave us directions on how to obtain tickets and get around town. Very friendly place and you can tell Maki really wants to take care of his patrons. I would highly recommend!
