I had read reviews of this hotel before going away and had some reservations, having now spent a week at the Coral beach I can say from our experience they were unfounded. As previous reviews have already said the rooms were very clean with decent sized bathrooms. We had a room overlooking the pool, it was noisy at night as the entertainment is centred round a stage by the pool, so if you like to go to bed early or find it difficult to sleep with loud noise I would suggest you book a room at the other side, It didn't bother us too much as with a lively toddler we were exhausted at the end of each day.
I can honestly say all of the staff were lovely,really friendly, a special mention to the staff in the restaurant who cleared the tables etc, they worked really hard but were always cheerful.
I would say the food in the restaurant was good, there was a large selection of dishes at all meals and there was always a fish,meat and veggie option, there were different dishes each day so you didn't feel like you were eating the same food all of the time. There was always plenty of cutlery/plates etc whenever we ate there and never had a problem finding somewhere to sit. The snack bar also served freshly cooked burgers/toasties/chips etc and that was very tasty. We again never really had a problem with queues, however we tended to go later when possibly there wasn't hordes of people all wanting feeding at the same time?
There are 2 pool areas and they were both very clean with plenty of sunbeds/chairs etc, the entertainment was ok, the team who did it put a lot of effort in, but we are not really bothered about entertainment when we go away. There was bingo/quizzes, singing and dancing with songs from Abba etc.
The resort of Es Cana is really nice and it is worth venturing out of the hotel, there are 2 nice beaches within walking distance and the transport, ie bus and ferry is very reliable if you fancy going a bit further afield.
All in all we had a good time, if I was being hyper critical the same music being played around the pool was a bit wearing but that would be my only complaint really. For the money we paid I feel we got good value and friendly service. If we were to come to Es Cana again we would stay at this hotel.

Just returned from the Coral Beach after a two week all inclusive break 10th - 24th June.

We arrived midday and were checked in very quickly and efficiently. We were allocated one of the corner rooms which have two balconies, one overlooking the pool the other looking towards the resort, beach and mountains it was fantastic.
The rooms were cleaned daily, fresh towels and clean bed linen were provided and the maids were very friendly.

The food was great with plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The snack bar food was cooked to order, yes it did take a while but remember it is freshly cooked, anyway whats the hurry we were on holiday.

The drinks were excellent and the bar staff were very friendly and helpful, yes there were queue's at the main bar at times but you were served within 2-3 minutes hardly a hardship, the pool bar was also open no queue's there.

The animation team worked very hard day and night, the daytime activities were great but the evening entertainment was not always the best, to much dead time between shows although with good drinks and excellent company it did not seem to matter to much. (Yes we enjoyed our second week, it was great to meet you both)

We would highly recommend this hotel and the resort of Es Canar and we hope to return in the near future.

Stayed at the Coral Beach with my husband and 2 year old daughter 6th-20th June.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were checked in very quickly to the biggest room I have ever stayed in. We were lucky to get one of the corner rooms which are much bigger than the other rooms. We had a King sized bed and a single bed and the room would have easily accommodated the same number of beds again. The bathroom was also very spacious.

I was a bit worried to read some negative reviews on here prior to our holiday but can honestly say in our experience they are completely untrue. We didn't have to queue as some reviews had stated. We did find that some people did choose to queue at the indoor bar when the outside pool bar was open with no queue and couldn't understand this. The only difference being inside you would get your drinks in a glass rather than a plastic cup but this didn't bother us at all.

We did witness some very rude holiday makers who would literally click there fingers at the bar staff. A please and thank you in the native tongue goes a long way. All staff work so hard and are very friendly. The animation team especially work their socks off both during the day and in the evening. Tai is a little star and my daughter had great fun with her at the mini-disco. Some days we didn't leave our room until very late morning as our little girl enjoyed to sleep late in the mornings and the maids were fantastic in that they cleaned our room daily, giving us fresh bed linen and towels. The rooms and all public areas are kept immaculate. The Mamma Mia show was fantastic, we were lucky to see this twice during our stay. The parrot show was OK although as a previous review mentions they are mainly interested in taking your photo so the show can start much later than expected.

We recommend the organised trip to Formentera which was beautiful. Also the sunset in San Antonio although we made our own way there rather than take the organised trip. We hired a car for 2 days during our 2 week stay and travelled up to Portinatx and went to Ibiza Town a few times which we loved. There is a car hire Company opposite the Jacaranda Beach Club in town which are doing fantastic car hire deals at the moment. 80 euros for 3 days all inclusive for a 5 door Corsa. They don't charge for baby seats or excess waiver either. The Jacaranda is a lovely place to soak up the sun if you fancy a change of scenery from the hotel. They have hammocks and pergola-type loungers which are very comfortable.

The food was plentiful and a good variety. We always found a table at each meal time and didn't experience any problems with lack of cutlery as some people seemed to experience. The alcohol was lovely. As a white wine drinker I wasn't expecting the quality to be great but it was very palatable and the spirit measures are huge so no skimping here. We found all the bar staff very friendly and the maximum of 2 drinks per person rule works well and that's probably why we never experienced problems with queues.

If you have booked to go to the Coral Beach you are in for a treat. We have done something we have never done before on a holiday and booked to return for a a few days in August as we enjoyed it that much.

Full marks to the Coral Beach, and Daniel if you're reading thank you very much to you and your team for making our holiday so special and memorable.

I have to say I have done all the Balerics but Es Cana in Iza tops em... We had a lovely room,, carpeted coridors so no clip clopping, towels/sheets changed every day,, CLEAN AS A WHISTLE!!...All staff worked very hard & are brillient& polite, happy, lovely..Look out for "MICK HUCKNELL" (Dani) in the bar, he's a lovely young man & so polite...I AGREE with the other reviews where some guests are so rude, not saying/please/thank you . It doesnt cost a lot so the staff have to put up with this too ....We looked over the pool so could see the entertainment from our room in the evening...Great!. & then flop into bed....we slept well too hardly any noise...WONDERFUL!!....The food was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL...no one should complain as there is so much choice, I would say hard luck if you cant find something there...dont holiday!!...All the beakfasts you could imagine, the salads were inventive & yummy..The main meals tasty & well cooked &varied...theres so much you have to have a bit of each..LoL...look out for the hot deserts cos they are scrumshush!!
The last evening the chefs did a wonderful seafood spread to die fo...whole salmon, king prawns, carb, mussells ETC ETC.... & I congratulated them on a wonderful spead....how could anyone moan , but they still do....they need a week in Ethiopia & then comment!!...
The area is lovely beach great , water devine as it was 30 degrees each day....so calm too...kids no need to worry...
I would go back there tommorrow if I could....We will def be going to stay again....It was the Best hol had for along time....THANK YOU CORAL BEACH FOR GIVING US A GREAT TIME......
ps we only ever had one snack as if you want fast food , stay at home.....give me spanish cuisine any day.....so much healthier too.....dont worry anyone about this place its a 6 star as far as i am concerned....
pps....go & visit old Ibiza town on a water ferry...thats another nice day out...ask for a packed lunch too.....
oh & nearly forgot...go to the Hippy Market on Wed...its great fun..lotsa things & great music played buy a few authentic guys...we bought their cd 10 euros..worth it!!..playing didgery doo etc..haunting music...WONDERFUL!!
