We have just returned from a week at the Alia Palace Hotel, and we can not speak highly enough of the hotel. All the staff were fantastic (especially Lisa and Joanna who is responsible for guest relations) and most spoke really great english. I broke my ankle in the town on the second night, and was treated like royalty by the hotel. The hotel made all the arrangements for me even down to hiring crutches. Stellios the hotel owner was both kind and generous driving me round in his golf buggy, none of which I asked for, all the help was offered.
The hotel is spotlessly clean as are the guest rooms which are basic but perfectly adequate (you don't go on holiday to live in your room) They are cleaned every day by lovely cheerful chamber maids. The pool is very large and safe and there is a smaller pool for little children. There are ample sun beds, as alot of guests with children choose to go to the beach, and a really great mini bus service is run several times through the day. The resort is lovely with many good restaurants. It was quiet during the week but came alive at the weekends. We had two lovely meals in the old square. The meals in the hotel were good, with lots of choice. The lunches were particularly nice. A really great week and we hope to return.
