The hotel was really great. Great servicies, kind staff, excellent food, nice rooms..really worth staying there!

The price was more than reasonable. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a relaxing time, close by the sea, beautiful walks around. It has 4 stars, and it definately worth them.

Cala Galdana is probably the best location in Minorca; scenically very attractive.
Hotel Audax has the best site in Cala Galdana.
The hotel is comfortable and quiet.
Room service and cleanliness generally good, although when we put out our "Do not disturb" sign, it was persistently ignored by a chambermaid repeatedly knocking, intent on coming in to clean.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Audax on our first holiday together. We had a bit of money to spend on something special and the Audax was definitely worth it. I have been to Menorca before and I would say this is probably the best on the island you can get. The hotel is in the ideal spot - the pool was so clean and there were so many good spots to sit or lie down that had beautiful views of the bay of Cala Galdana. We paid for a sea view and were not disappointed. The staff were extremely friendly, from the maids to the duty manager. The bar had excellent evening entertainment, we could have stayed all night every night! We didn't think that much of the hotel restaurants but they were still very good. The majority of other guests were middle to old age (we are both young adults) but this was not an issue as we were not there to party lol. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a stunningly beautiful resort and a well maintained hotel, this is the place for you.

I stayed at this hotel in June for 5 nights. We opted for a sea view room - it was worth the money as the view across the bay was great.
I am surprised at the negative comments that have been left. I was staying with my mum and we both had a relaxing time.
The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was clean. The food was ok, admittedly, one buffet restaurant was nicer than the other (but can't remember which). There was a large choice each night so you should find something you like.
The pool was cold but if you go in the top pool it is warmer.
The resort itself is lovely, very quiet so don't go if you are looking for entertainment. We took a walk to the headland which looks across the whole bay - there are a lot of steps the view is worth it.
We only left the resort once - we took the bus to Ciutadella, the island's old capital. This is worth a day trip out to see the old buildings and the port.
The only downside were that we did have a "drain smell" from the bathroom which seemed to come and go. Admittedly, we didn't complain but did leave a comment on their questionnaire. The hotel wrote back to us, on our arrival back home to apologise.
Overall we had a very relaxing stay.Looking at the other hotels (only 2 others) there, I think it is the best one.
