Just returned from spending 11 days at the Audax. Hotel is excellent. Good choice of food and the staff are very attentive. Can recommend the thermal circuit in the Spa at 17 euros it is well worth it. Just one downside with the spa - the treatments are a bit on the expensive side and compared with other spas I have visited not value for money.

I wouldn't recomend visiting Cala Galdana in April as many of the bars and shops are closed until May, not just here but across Menorca. .

The hotel was really great. Great servicies, kind staff, excellent food, nice rooms..really worth staying there!

The price was more than reasonable. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a relaxing time, close by the sea, beautiful walks around. It has 4 stars, and it definately worth them.

Cala Galdana is probably the best location in Minorca; scenically very attractive.
Hotel Audax has the best site in Cala Galdana.
The hotel is comfortable and quiet.
Room service and cleanliness generally good, although when we put out our "Do not disturb" sign, it was persistently ignored by a chambermaid repeatedly knocking, intent on coming in to clean.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Audax on our first holiday together. We had a bit of money to spend on something special and the Audax was definitely worth it. I have been to Menorca before and I would say this is probably the best on the island you can get. The hotel is in the ideal spot - the pool was so clean and there were so many good spots to sit or lie down that had beautiful views of the bay of Cala Galdana. We paid for a sea view and were not disappointed. The staff were extremely friendly, from the maids to the duty manager. The bar had excellent evening entertainment, we could have stayed all night every night! We didn't think that much of the hotel restaurants but they were still very good. The majority of other guests were middle to old age (we are both young adults) but this was not an issue as we were not there to party lol. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a stunningly beautiful resort and a well maintained hotel, this is the place for you.
