Stayed for 2 weeks at this hotel. Very comfortable and all staff very friendly. We had a room with a sea view which we had booked and it was worth the extra money as it looked out over the very pretty horseshoe bay. We were on the top floor so no one above us! Only minor critisism was the room was a little small and the balcony tiny, no faciity for drying costumes etc! A nice touch from the hotel was a bottle of cava chilled in a bucket on the first night. Two restaurants, one show cooking and the other buffet. Both nice and the choice of food excellent, only the few usual complainers about the temperature of the food and there is a microwave if needed. Spa circuit well worth doing, but treatments were pricey. Entertainment at night was mainly singers and the bar area fairly cramped to see it. Out of the 3 hotels in Cala Galdana we thought this was the nicest and friendliest as we did visit the others! Beer most expensive in the Cala Galdana Hotel at 4.40e!! We found that most things were fairly pricey anyway particularly eating out! Car hire is a must if you want to explore, very easy to get around Menorca and it is very pretty. Lots of small coves which remain fairly quiet. Lovely cliff walk from Cala Galdana to Cala Macarella with 213 steps down to the beach where there is a nice bar. Would go back to hotel again but not May as the weather was awful! Lots of rain.
