We took our first trip to Europe this winter and wanted to stay in a chateau one of the nights. We chose this one for the location and based on other reviews. It exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed a fabulous dinner the evening we arrived, which consisted of many tastes we had not experienced before. Our room (Jeanne d'Arc) was beautiful and very large - large enough for a twin bed, baby crib, king bed and couch, with room to spare! The bathroom was stunning, but at the end of the evening, we couldn't get enough hot water (our only complaint). My sister-in-law's family's room and the was beautifully furnished. And the grounds were quiet and lovely! Our children (boys ages 1, 7 and 12, girls ages 10 and 13) were completely thrilled with their experiences as little princes and princesses for the day!
The next day, the woman at the front desk gave us lots of information about the chateaux in the area and we headed out to see more sights. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
