Stayed here in July 08 for a relaxing week with my daughter. Food lovely, staff very friendly and probably the cleanest hotel i have ever been to.....Good all inclusive, wine list with dinner etc..

After reading all of the reveiws on here I was expecting to find this hotel above average quality - however, I never in my wildest dreams thought I was going to find it this great! We stayed all inclusive for a whole week and I cannot find one fault in this hotel

The staff were so polite, the entertainment was fine, the rooms were cleaned every day and to an exceptionally high standard. The food was great (dont know what the other reviewers are talking about - did they expect burger and chips?) I consider myself to be fussy but there was always something I liked.

Overall I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - I am just worried that I wont be able to stay anywhere again as I will always be comparing it to this. If you get an opportunity to stay in Lanzarote stay here - you wont regret it!

Had an absolute superb holiday at the Costa Calero. We have been to Lanzarote a number of times and on one of our visits, went to Puerto Calero and saw the hotel and decided we would have to stay there.

Having travelled 4 times with our nearly 3 year old, this was by far the best place we have stayed with him. Superb facilities, playground, childrens pool, food and the evening 'disco', made our son a very happy little boy!!

We had a room on the ground floor, and whilst we didn't get a 'sea view' , still had a great view of the pool and it gave us more peace of mind as we had our young son with us.

We took the 'All inclusive' option. There was a great range of food at all meals and the drinks were great.

We have decided we will definately be going back. Superb holiday. Only wished we had booked 2 weeks and not one!

The Iberostar Costa Calero is a modern, clean and well run hotel. The gardens are well maintained and provide ample space for guests to lie about in the sun.

The entertainments team try very hard to keep the guests entertained during the day and in the evenings, although the evening entertainment was a little hit-and-miss.

Hotel buffet arrangements can be a bit of a trial, but the food at the Iberostar was of good quality and plentiful, albeit, a bit repetitive.

Staff were always cheerful and helpful and spoke good English.

There are a few decent restaurants down at the marina which is just a few minutes walk away, and we ate in Puerto Del Carman on one occasion.
