We booked a 1 week stay in a room overlooking the pool/sea, on a B&B basis, direct with the hotel; largely based on trip advisor reviews - which, on reflection, look generous.
The "free" taxi transfers to/from the hotel, provided as part of the package, worked well - to time and quick.
Our bedroom was large with room for a separate table and 2 chairs. The TV service provided was excellent, it included BBC & ITV as well as Sky news.
The bathroom had the benefit of a separate shower cubicle although the toilet was stuck behind the door.
The food range for breakfast was extensive, although the "hot" buffet breakfast range can best be described as "warm".
Outside, the grounds are cluttered with sunbeds, you could always get one but room for movement was limited.
As the hotel became fuller - we understand the max is about 1100 clients - certain service items began to disappear e.g. pool towels could not be changed because "the hotel is nearly full and hasn't got enough"; bathroom towels were not changed, presumably for the same reason; and although our sheets were changed our pillowcases remained the same for the week.
Bar staff were friendly, reception staff less so. Lots of staff maintaing the grounds, some even bringing more sunbeds!
Talking to other people who had returned to the same hotel year after year, they said standards wereobviously slipping and it might be best to only come out of high season.
The resort itself is a bit of a dump - a purpose built concrete strip, with no character and your obligatory British and German bars/
restaurants.
