We were recommended to go to the Ionian Blue, and it was probably the best meal we had in Sidari.
Fresh tzatsiki like I've never tasted before, a chicken souvalki that just melted in the mouth, and the best baklava we tried on holiday. We were made to feel very welcome by the gentleman running the place, who was happy to chat to us about the island, resort and much more! When we were there, there were groups returning having been earlier in their holidays.
It's in the Canal d'Amour region and is a little further up the road than you should think you're going (right by a hotel with a name beginning with P, but can't remember the name!). There's a great selection of food, all at reasonable prices, and we would definitely recommend trying their greek dishes.
I would recommend this to ANYONE staying in Sidari - much better food than most of the usual restaurants, and a range of food if you're not really up for Greek. But, if like us you wanted to sample some of the local culture, you're made to feel very welcome and the food is quite something!
