Myself and my husband and our 5 year old son have just come back Caribbean World, We was unsure of what to expect, as we have been to Hammamet and Jasmine Hammamet before. On arrival at the airport we met the coach to take us to the resort, The transfer from airport to resort was about 50 minutes, we arrived at reception and got our room keys, we were in room 3032, which is classed as a bungalow room, which was clean and tidy, and had a small balcony. We got up the next morning and went for breakfast, which consisted of salad, fruit, cereal, croissants, and omelettes, tea coffee etc. Then we went back to the room and the air con had broke, so we called reception and a man came out and fixed it. So off we went to the aqua park, they charge 6 dinar per person entry, we had no problem getting sunbeds by the small pool, we got a drink from the beach bar, which is badly infested with wasps, so that was the last time we went there. At lunch time we went for pizza at the snack bar, we tipped the man 5 dinar and was treated like royalty all week. In the evening the air con had broke again so we called reception again and off we went to resturant for dinner, my Son didnt like the look of any of the dishes that they had, so all week he had pasta, cucumber and carrots, we made a joke of it saying are you sure you dont want spinach in cream, "No" was always the reply. My husband tried some dishes, but if im totally honest I just didnt like the look of some of the food. So most evenings it was salad or spagetti bolognaise for me. The evening entertainment was a kids disco, to boney m, the music man, the birdie song, etc, my little boy got involved for the first 2 nights and then did'nt want to do it again, so he was quite happy playing his psp, whilst we had a drink at the bar. Then the animation team put on a show after the kids disco. The kids disco is the same night after night, and even i thought it was boring after the second night. So we went back to the room and the air con was broke again, 4 times we had called them out, so we went up reception and complined, eventually they could not fix the problem so they moved us to anohter room, the only draw back was we had to pack all our things, and move at 11.10 at night, but to be honest the room was a lot better than the one we came out of. Trying to get a sunbed by the main pool is virtually impossible, unless you get up about 5.30 and take your towels down, we went at 7.30 one moring and there was not a single bed available, but there are another 2 pools on the complex, one by the aqua park, and one just by the bank. The beach was lovely, the sea was warm. If your going just make sure you take plenty of mosquito spray, as a lot of people and kids were walking around with lots of bites on them. Basically it was a break in the sun, but we are used to going out and about for a walk, but did'nt think walking outside was a very good idea. My son had a nice time in the pool, but found it hard as there was no other English children there to play with, and having omlette every breakfast time, and pizza every lunch time, and like i said before pasta, cucumber and carrot for dinner finally took its toll on him, basically I dont think the childrens entertainment was great, same dancing for them every night to the same songs, and the kids club, well i took my boy in there, and there was another girl in there, and the worker in there just walked out and left them, so no kids club for him that day, or any other day. My son enjoyed the pool, but i dont think there was enough to do there for him. We had great weather, but I wouldnt rush back
Look at the pictures on the internet, and the room with the stairs has 2 single beds upstairs and la...
