All I can say, read all the reports good, bad whatever the rating they have then you will get a true picture of the hotel, everything that has been written is a "snapshot" of what happened to that individual or party when they were there but what they are is mostly true, it is all there for you to get a good feel for the hotel, efficient, remote, food etc.
Me and my wife just spent a week there, returned yesterday, and the experience was good overall. There is a two tier system for paying and All Inclusive guests, I even got miffed when I could not get a glass for my beer during the day, but the man next to me could, petty I know but it is these small things that begin to annoy you. Sunbeds are another thing. All nationalities are guilty of reserving the beds, the hotel does not enforce its policy, the 8am rule and two hours unattended, there are towels on beds from early o' clock, we witnessed them at six am. The trick when we were there was a couple to take one bed under an umbrella next to one an other instead of taking two under one umbrella so they could effectively have four beds and loads of space. Nationalities I will touch on, the make up of the week we were there was predominately Russians, everyone else including the Germans were in the minority, they are different and just get on with it, they will jump in front of you, barge past you, so beware if you are bothered by that kind of thing, I played them at their own game. I will go over something someone posted earlier, floor six is very noisy, both from the kitchen and restaurant, you don't get much peace if you live there. Animation Team were a good bunch and very, very friendly, just remember they are not professional entertainers and they are trying to please a large multi national audience. The one thing that parents need to be aware of is the water polo, it takes place in the afternoon about three, this involves about 12 fifteen stone men and some women throwing a ball very hard into goals that back onto the kiddies pool, just beware, if the ball hits your child it could do serious damage, we experienced it on day one and never sat there again.
Like I said it is all there in all the reports, read them all, from the noises that the Animation Team make (I did laugh at that report because now I have stayed there I know the exact noise, it may grate some people) to the lack of bar service during the day in the hotel (not good for the older people who would need to go down five flights to get a cup of tea) We worked around all of these things, maybe because we are flexible. Would I stay there again, jury is out for me at present. Like someone said the information is what you make it, we are all different.
