This was a last minute trip and we were so fortunate to find the Trapezaki Bay ..It is a superb hotel with beaches within walking distance. A family run hotel with the emphasis on ensuring guests are 100% happy throughout their stay. Superb food and comfortable rooms.

On arrival the welcome was exceptional. A delayed Thomas Cook Flight (very uncomfortable), Late evening arrival, made no difference to Nicko and Sophia, who immediately provided us with a hot meal, together with a very warm welcome. The hotel is spotless and the gardens immaculate. Very restful surroundings, nice pool, and pool restaurant and bar open all day. Hire a car, and Maria the receptionist is very knowledgeable of places to eat, and better still the best tavernas to visit around Kefalonia. This was a first time visit for us, but most other visitors had been at the hotel three, four, six. and up to ten times previously. Some even visited twice a year. As new comers arrived they were greeted by the proprietors and staff like old friends. This hotel is home from home, and cannot be faulted.

Great location. Family run hotel. A warm friendly welcome from Niko, Sofia and their team. Clean, well run hotel. Excellent food in restaurant (try the fish soup!). A peaceful, relaxing stay. We can't wait to go back.

Our stay at the Trapezaki Bay Hotel was everything we expected.. and more. From the welcome at Kefalonia Airport with private transport by a member of the Hotel staff right through our 2 week stay where every need was catered for and nothing was too much trouble for owners Niko, Sophia and the whole of the Trapezaki Hotel team. It was like staying in someones home yet so relaxing, luxurious peacefull and tranquil. We booked our return for next year before we left as, it would appear, do most of the Hotel's guests. Can hardley wait for May 2010.
