After booking this on new years eve as a last minute, lets do something i was a little dubious that wed made the right decision-as we drove into the grounds, through the little village we knew the location was right- as soon as we opened the door, it was just the most equisite experience ever

never darken a chain of hotels ever again! the service was the most impressive ever- reception, was a guest book- none of the tedious checkin process elsewhere. the manager welcomed us as old friends, and this set the tone for the evening- service is 7 star equivalent- and not in the least forced!

we had a 7 course dinner package and it is the best meal i and the wife have EVER had! again the service was personal- this for me made the difference!

we will be back- we'll be taking friends, and the missus has already looked into it as a valentines treat!

didnt use the health club but pool looked nice, only one gripe was the size of the room and bed. we did book the last room- they had to move the chef to put us in a double not a twin- bed was great but a little too small for me at 6 3, and the room was tight space wise-amazingly decorated with everything about the room depicting class!
