The owners of this hotel have tried very hard and had some great ideas but unfortunately for them they have failed dismally due to the poor workmanship and build quality of the hotel. The first room they showed us to smelt of damp. This was due to the fact of insufficient drainage from the shower which flooded the bathroom completely. Also, in the bathroom they had failed to install the hairdryer and just left the live wire hanging from the wall. You can imagine my joy at standing in 2inches of water with live wires protruding next to me. The next room we went to looked to be in better condition until we tried to turn the lights off.(the lights, air-conditioning and television are all controlled from a box on the wall which is not practical if it works) When the box did not respond I went to reception and was told that I have to phone reception when I wanted to go to sleep as they can control the lights from there. I was going to ask for another room for our last night but decided from the look of the rest of the hotel that there would be not rooms that are 100%. The patio and the pool area are falling to pieces. On our first night we decided to have a drink at the bar before we went to town. We ordered a Mojito and was told that they didn't have any mint (which is not so bad in itself) and was then told that as it is September there are many things not on the menu as the menu was the opening night menu and it is close to the end off the season. This hotel cost over £150 per night and they can't supply mint because it is the end of the season! Everything about this hotel just made me angry and I could not wait to leave (luckily the island of Mykonos is just beautiful and as long as we were not in the hotel we had a wonderful time) Do not stay at this hotel! You would have a much more relaxing holiday by choosing one of the £30 hotels from the people in the ports!
