My friend and I are two 40 something year old women. We stayed at Agios Prokopios for 5 days after 4 weeks of staying at other destinations for 3 or 4 days.
Vangellis (the proprietor) is friendly and exceptionally helpful. He and his financee Efiie are very good at recommending places to eat, places to shop - and for our fussy Australian tastes, there was nothing they recommended that was disappointing.
The rooms in the property are basically furnished but more than comfortable. The property itself is quite beautiful. The pool is great, the outdoor furnishings (around the pool) are comfortable. We stayed in a ground floor room that overlooked the pool. We had a little verandah no more than 10 metres from the pool. The space of that verandah was wonderful. I would go and sit there in the mornings with a cup of tea and just watch the other guests playing, tanning.
Breakfast was not included in our accommodation package. It was relatively cheap (5 euros per person) but was quite limited to the sort of stuff I would make for myself at home. Everything on offer was very very fresh.
The next time I go to Greece, I will go to Naxos and I will stay at Agios Prokopios Hotel.
