“Brands hatch spa & Hotel...Fantastic!”

Brandshatch Place Hotel

My partner and i always read reviews before we visit a hotel or restaurant as it gives us an idea of whats to come when we visit.

As i was reading through the past reviews for The Brandshatch Spa and hotel, i was really disapointed. We were attending the Spa Hotel for my 21st birsthday and staying from Monday til Wednesday morning.

The reviews were really off putting and it kind of put a downer on things, as we thought we were going to a hotel from hell..

As we arrived i thought the hotel looked suprisingly pretty with large grounds. We walked in and got our key and headed up to the top suite of the hotel (room 18) I was so shocked on how gorgeous it was after hearing all these terrible things..

It was tradiational, yet with modern elements (Plasma tv, clean stylish bathroom)

I was so relieved and just started to ignore everything i had heard about it before..

Overall our stay was fantastic. The restaurant was incredible with a great menu. The spa had great facilties, and it was also not busy at all. I had a facial and a full body massage while i was there too..the whole spa layout and treatment rooms were so gorgeous..i just wanted to have more and more done!

The staff were smart, very helpful and always professional. We also ordered breakfast to our rooms on both mornings which came very promptly and was beautifully presented..

Also one one night we relaxed in the suite ordering room service, which was also on time, hot and it tasted fantastic also..

From other reviews, there were many bad points which i felt were so over exaggerated..

The main road is near by..in which you can hear it slightly in the day time..but at night this doesnt effect you in the slightest..

Also this hotel is marked as a 4 star, and i think it deserves this rating..

The hotel staff are great, the food is fantastic and the spa is incredible!

Please do not be put off by bad reviews, this is a great spa get away..If you don't go you'll be missing out!

Booked to stay here as a surprise for my partner.... 3 days before arrival got a phone call saying they had overbooked and had to move me to another hotel!!! Shocking. I had no choice, rude customer service. Tried to confirm other booking but no one at hotel knew about my situation. Never ever use this hotel again, I wish I had paid more attention to the previous write ups... they said stay away!!!

This was the most wonderful christmas ever. It started with bucks fizz , The food was lovely and there was a buffet in the afternoon which I had no idea would be included in the price.there was a visit from santa - champagne and evening drinks. the room was a little small for a delux but had a nice big television. I would recommend christmas here to anyone.

For £85.00 per person, having eaten out on Christmas day a few times before, we thought we knew what to expect! How wrong were we! A main meal that can only be described as a frozen meal for one - luke warm, processed meat, tasteless and of poor quality. Service was also poor - had to ask for everything including condiments and drinks. Would not recommend to eat or stay here, rest of the building is tired poorly run.

After a 2 hour drive, we finally reached our so called "luxury" hotel and spa. There was No reception area, No luggage help, and NO lifts. We went straight to the spa to book some treatments and were met by an arrogant spotty young man who refused to even look at us and behaved in a totally disgusting manner. We had to leave with no treatments booked!!!!

The room was small, cold & smelly and very poorly noise insulated. The bed itself was uncomfortable & the springs were popping out, not exactly the luxury I had been PROMISED!

Our room was right next to the race track and we could not hear ourselves think. The DVD player was broken and there was no minibar/fridge.

I booked this weekend away as a treat for my 6 month pregnant wife who should have been able to indulge in the spa treatments, however we were left totally disappointed & came home early!

PLEASE DO NOT EVER GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING DISAPPOINTED!!!
