We have stayed at the Sawrey many, many times & you know what you're going to get. Clean bedrooms, good homecooked food, log fires & good lakeland beer on tap down at the bar. Don't stay expecting...more

I've been coming here for 40 years.It has hardly changed in all that time.Is that a bad thing?Do I want a trouser press and a mini bar or do I make do with the fantastic food,the superb beers,the down...more
