霧多布とはアイヌ語キイタップの当て字だそうですが、私が行った日の霧多布岬はその字がぴったりの雰囲気でした。直前までは天気が良かったのですが、岬に近づくにつれ、急に天気が悪くなり、岬は霧で包まれ、断崖に打ち寄せる荒波と人のいない岬で旅情たっぷりのさびしい雰囲気でした。晴れた日は周囲を見渡せ景色がよさそうですが、これはこれでたまにはいいかなと感じました。 more
