Isle Royale National Park is located on the largest island in Lake Superior. Its isolated location, only accessible by boat or seaplane, has allowed Isle Royale to remain a primitive wilderness. Designated as a UNESCO International Biosphere Reserve, the park is home to moose, wolves and beavers, as well as a large variety of birds and fish.
