Although its population is just over a thousand people, Dawson City attracts tens of thousands of visitors per year, drawn to the pristine wilderness and the thrill of its Gold Rush history. The main street is lined with historical buildings and replicas, from old time saloons to trading posts. A casino and Can-Can show provide just some of the period entertainment. Visitors may pan for gold in one of the remaining dredges or tee off at midnight on the Top of the World Golf Course.
