Just visited Mittenwald on a day trip from Munich. Cost £15 Baverian Return ticket same day 1hr 50min trip from Munich which was easy as the views were great. What a place full of snow breathtaking...more

The views are better going to Mittenwald, facing the Karwendal range. Take the bus to Krün, then set off on the walk, which takes about two hours. These photos are from Jan 2007. more
