A great place. One of the best spots in Austria because of its scenery. Quite touristy, but still breath-taking. The trip from Salzburg to there by train is also very beautiful. I would definitely...more

I wasn't disappointed. I spend four days in Salzburg and had time for a day trip to Hallstatt. The drive isn't bad from Salzburg. 90 minutes one way and I didn't use the Autobahn because I was too...more
