One of my favourite restaurants and bars in HsinChu because it's all about the food and nothing else although service is also excellent!!! more

今回は台湾映画『九月に降る風』のロケ現場を見るためにやってきたのですが、実は見どころ満載の街でした。新竹というと工業都市のイメージが強いですが、中心部には古い建物も多く、観光のために滞在するにもお勧めです。新竹駅や市政府、消防署、映画博物館などの日本統治時代のクラシックな建物が残されているほか、由緒正しい廟、新竹城隍廟もあります。廟の周りには屋台街もあって、新竹名物のビーフンと貢丸（つみれ入りスープ）もいただけます。台北から特急で１時間。バスも多いので日帰りでも充分楽しめる街です。 more
