We stayed a night at this hotel to break up our journey from Himeiji to Nikko. Although it was the most expensive place we stayed during our visit, it was easily surpassed by any of the inns we stayed...more

Easily made my reservation by phone. Parking available but just 2 blocks from Utsunomiya train station. Breakfast was delicious! Bathrooms down the hall were clean. A beautiful old ryokan. more

The hotel rooms are ok, but a bit dated. The traditional Japanese restaurant on the ground floor is nice. They will catch fish from the pond to serve you. The Big Ben bar on the top floor is a nice...more
