we stayed at macguires one night on each side of our trip to the amazon. these folks make you feel like family, not guests. they carted us home from the airport and then back again on the other end...more

I've stayed in worse - actually the Catussaba in Salvador was a true dive. This was liveable. The room was clean, but dated. Other guests made the comment that the rooms at the Tropical resort next...more
