The 24 hour restaurant in the hotel equates to 24 hour noise. When the bars let out, the drunks go there to eat. Between 3 & 6 AM there were loud drunken people yelling in the parking lot. A call to...more

Palmer is an excellent town for a home base when visiting that part of Alaska. It's a lot smaller than Anchorage, and affords great views of Northern Lights since it's not closely surrounded by...more
