The town was a chief supplier for the Confederate Army, and its Civil War history is on display in myriad museums and historic sites like Port Columbus Civil War Naval Center, which contains some of the Civil War's most important artefacts. I would not stay here!! You can not trust the staff. My daughter left a phone charger. When I called back two days later to ask about it , someone from the front desk checked and called me back...more

Columbus is a great town and the River District is fun to explore. The Columbus Marriott is a good homebase for shopping, walking tours and events at the beautiful RiverCenter. more
