A with most visitors to the village I was aware of the "Other " Pub - The Eagle & Child. A quick visit showed it to be packed, so the advertising works. As a party of 4 - with grandson on wheels...more

We spent one night at Ravenbank on the weekend of the Great North Swim. Our teenage son arrived two hours before we did and was made to feel at home immediately and sat and chatted to Heather and Ted...more
