The Despot Slav is accurately rated as 3.5 stars. Like seemingly every else we stayed in Bulgaria, the facilities were exceedingly clean -- the smell of bleach and cleaning agents seemed to greet us...more

A really small town surrounded by interesting rocks, made entirely from lime, the town of Melnik is a good destination for original pctures. Also excellent wine on extremely good price. more
