Hasankeyf is a spectacular, scenic town on the Tigris. It is quite unspoiled. Unlike most of the ancient towns there is no new town (at least not one we found). The major sight is the town itself. ...more

This is an easy day-trip to do from Diyarbakir = just go to the Yeni Ilce Otogar and go to Batman from where it's easy to get another dolmus to Hassankeyf. The bus drops you at the entrance to the...more
