One place to try is Cafe Luna .  You will find this place on the south coast, completely open-air and overlooking Miami Beach on the roof-top of Little Arches Boutique Hotel. Cafe Luna has outstanding food, ambiance and service, it also enjoys one of the most unique and romantic settings on the island. Sushi specials on Thursday and Friday and fresh lobster features on a Saturday night. Also open for breakfast and lunch, it is well worth a visit if you are in the Miami/ Enterprise beach area, dinner reservations are recommended. Cafe Luna is rated numer 1 "Hotel Dining", number 1 rated "Mediterranean Cuisine", number 3 rated "Best Food" overall in Barbados in the 2007 Zagat survey guide.  For more information and sample menu visit the Cafe Luna website.

Other outdoor places to try are Emerald Palm in St. James, Zaccios in Holetown, Lone Star (West Coast) and The Fish Pot, past Speightstown in Little good Harbour.

St. Lawrence Gap on the south coast also has a wide range of outdor dining restaurants varying from casual dining on  a streetside deck (great for people watching!) to a more formal setting by the sea. Ocean-front outdoor dining options in St. Lawrence gap would include  Pisces and Bellini's Italian. More casual outdoor dining options in St. Lawrence Gap would be Bay Bistro (covered deck and poolside tables, view of the Bay), Cafe Sol Mexican Grill and Margarita Bar (open deck and outdoor bar area), Mc Bride's Pub & Cookhouse (open deck and beer garden),  Harlequin (open-air, streetside)

Further up the coast, also on the south coast is Champers which is located in a beautiful ocean-front setting with a covered deck on two levels, overlooking Accra Beach.
