If you're looking to spend some time on the links, make your way to Barbados Golf Club in Durants. This public championship golf course was opened in 2000. This course was the location of the PGA Seniors Tournament in 2003. Greens fees are US$125 in the high season and US$85 in the low season for 18 holes of golf.

Barbados is a premiere windsurfing destination, comparable to conditions found in Hawaii. The best time to catch the right winds is between mid-November through the end of June. Silver Sands Beach, located at the southern tip of Christ Church, is the best spot for those with advanced windsurfing skills. For those starting out, head to the Club Mistral Windsurfing Club located in Oistins, where you can rent equipment for half- or full-days.

The Barbados National Trust leads a number of free hikes starting from locations across the island. Morning hikes begin at 6 a.m., afternoon hikes begin at 3:30 p.m., and moonlight walks begin at 5:30 p.m.

There are plenty of options for snorkelers and divers off the coast of Barbados. You can rent snorkels or dive equipment at a number of dive shops in Christ Church and the surrounding area.
