"Wreck Alley" is the name given to a collection of shipwrecks deliberately sunk to provide an attraction for scuba divers just off Cooper Island.  The wrecks are in two bunches: the Mary L and Pat are sunk right next to each other, and adjacent to them is the Beata.  It is planned that a fourth wreck will be sunk alongside them in summer 2009.  A fifth wreck, the Inganess Bay, is sunk a couple of hundred yards away and is dived as a separate site.

The wrecks are relatively deep, in about 90 feet of water.  They are on a sandy bottom right next to a reef which climbs sharply (although not quite a wall) from the sandy bottom to a depth of about 30 feet.  The site is relatively sheltered and so apart from the depth is a relatively easy dive.
