George Town is the largest city in Grand Cayman and is where the cruise ships and airplanes arrive.  There is a lot of places to shop and wonderful places to eat.  Recently (April, 2006) a new Italian place opened up called Papinos.  I highly reccomend visiting there at least once.  The owner is a delightful man!  George Town also offers many bar and grill types of resturants as well as local food places.  There are also shops where you can taste test the Tortuga Rum Cakes.  They are delicious.  The town also offers places to SCUBA dive and snorkel.  Don Foster's Dive Shop is located right outside the main part of the city and has SCUBA certification, boat dives, and shore dives.  There are amazing creatures to be seen!  The staff is wonderful as well, making the experience even better.  A black coral shop/museum , that is located right on the shore, hosts a wonderful collection of black coral jewlery and sculptures.  Even if you are unable to buy some jewlery take a look at the sculptures.  The spiney lobster is astounding.    Overall George Town is a nice place to visit.  Take some time to enjoy it!
