Located in the Eastern Caribbean the weather in Basseterre can certainly be described as tropical, with little seasonal variation, and year round sea breezes. The weather is, as you’d expect, generally pleasant most of the year. The temperature is generally comfortable, and while the daytime highs can climb into the upper 80s or lower 90s the ocean makes it feel quite pleasant.

The islands of St. Kitts and Nevis all get a lot of sun, so no matter what time of the year you go you’re likely to get a tan. Just be sure to bring along some sunscreen if you’re going to soak up those island rays. The summer is generally the rainy season however, which lasts from May until about the beginning of November. The islands are within the hurricane zone, and recent years the hurricane season has been quite active.

The winter months are from November to February but daytime temperatures can still be in the upper 70s to low 80s during the day and in the low 60s or so at night. The humidity tends to be a bit lower during the winter as well. But it generally warm enough for water sports year round.
