This airport, although small, is a center for Caribbean air traffic and handles international flights and air craft up to the size of a Boeing 747. Many of the planes which use this airport are private or chartered, but some larger commercial airlines use it as well, including US Air, American Airlines, and Delta. The airport is also a hub for many smaller Caribbean commercial airlines.
