Not only can driving on the left side be hard to manage, but there are many walking tourists and pedestrians crossing the streets, and it can be hard to remember to look for them on top of getting used to a new way of driving.
Another transportation option, besides a car but with a motor, is a scooter. Many tourists go this route because they find scooters easier to deal with than cars, and they’re also less expensive to rent.
Bicycles can be rented on the Island , but they are not an overly popular method of transportation for tourists. It’s sometimes difficult to find stores which will rent them, but some of the hotels have a few bicycles that can be used by their guests to get from place to place.
Walking is probably the most common form of transportation on Paradise Island , because many people choose to stay on their resort’s ground for the duration of their vacation.
