Dining on Paradise Island can be expensive, but it doesn't have to be. There are plenty of ways to cut down on the expenses.
One suggestion is to bring some food from home for breakfast and snacks. Some easy things to pack include: breakfast bars, Pop-Tarts, peanut butter and crackers, trail mix, etc. You could even pack some favorite drink mixes, such as powdered Gatorade or Crystal Light. Some people like to bring bottled water, but you could purchase it at a nearby grocery, as well.
If you are staying at the Atlantis resort, consider eating lunch at "Sharkbites" or "Cave Bar and Grill". Kids' meals at these places are $6.95. You can also purchase a large soft drink in a refillable cup, but be sure to ask ,because they don't always offer this deal up front. There is also a family deal available at these two places that includes 4 large burgers, 2 orders of fries, and 2 refillable drinks for $26.
Some local restaurants with reasonable prices include: Zio Gigi's (Italian) located at the Hurricane Hole Plaza, Poop Deck (seafood) 2 locations, Conch Fritters (very casual seafood), and News Cafe and Choosey (sandwiches) also at the Hurricane Hole Plaza.
