If marathon sessions of laying out on the beach are not your idea of a recreational activity, no worries, as there are plenty of options for sports and recreation in Cable Beach.
- Radisson Cable Beach Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course that is open to the public, as well as hotel guests. The driving range is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. During the summer, hours on Sundays are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Greens fees are $105 for hotel guests and $135 to $150 for all other players.
- A number of opportunities are available for snorkeling and scuba diving off of Cable Beach. You can rent equipment from your hotel or one of the many dive shops lining the beaches. Several dive shops also have half- and full-day SCUBA diving excursions. Other watersports that you can partake of while in Cable Beach include canoeing, parasailing, and kite boarding.
- Another great way to get some exercise whilst on New Providence Island is to get around on your own two feet. There are several walking tours (including that of the nearby historic Old Nassau) and most attractions are close enough to be considered within walking distance. If walking is too slow, then rent a bike. Biking across the island gives you a great way to see the island whilst burning calories at the same time (thus making room for more umbrella drinks in the evening).
