Pinetree Stables offers scenic 2-hour rides on Grand Bahama for $85/per person. They take two rides per day: at 9 am and about noon. Riders are asked to be there 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the ride. Bring a 16 oz water bottle with you, or plan to buy one at the stable for $2. It's also a good idea to hydrate before you go.
The ride takes place about 85% on a nice wooded trail, and about 15% on the beach and in the water. You can wear shorts, but the trail is fairly narrow, and the horses will rub up against the
brush, so wear longer pants if you don't want your legs scratched up.
Wear lots of high SPF sunscreen. Helmets are offered for safety, but since horses never go faster than a
walk, most people opt for the sun protection of some kind of hat with a
brim.
You will get wet about up to
your knees in the ocean part of the ride (they go into the water near Bikini Bottom, just to the west of Island Seas Resort). Wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet. Flip-flops are fine. They
will even let you go barefoot if you want.
They recommend purchasing a disposable camera, which they have for sale there also ($10), in order to avoid damage to more expensive cameras. A waterproof camera would be ideal. Regular cameras are fine, but the liability is all yours if you get it wet, or if one of their guides does.
